Who is Julian Assange?
Julian Assange started out as a computer hacker during his teenage years because of his thirst for knowledge and the truth. The Pentagon Papers in 1971 by Daniel Ellsberg inspired Julian to create Wikileaks in 2006. This online website is mostly about activism and seeking justice. He had been evading authorities because of alleged charges, moving from Sweden to Ecuador Embassy until his arrest. He ended up in a London prison, where his mental and physical health deteriorated, due to stressful situations and the news demonizing him because he exposed the truth to the world on Wikileaks.
Many videos on Youtube are celebrating his freedom. He had recently made a plea deal with USA, which allowed him to be free. He had agreed on a guilty plea for a conspiracy charge. He was seen boarding a plane to return to his native country, Australia. Assange had been in Belmarsh Prison in London for five years. Prior to being sent to Belmarsh prison, he was at the Ecuador Embassy for seven years. He was given a cat to keep him busy because of his isolation.
What happened to Julian’s cat?
This cat appears to be an enigma. It is mostly known as Embassy Cat Michi or James, being used as a celebrity cat for publicity. But he had to give it away in November 2018. He wasn’t able to care for it properly because ‘its isolation became unbearable’ and it needed a healthier environment and life with someone who can provide healthy food and good hygiene. The cat was mostly being used for public relations purposes, similar to a cute prop for Julian’s political tweets and posts. Moreover, Assange had violated embassy rules, which included insulting workers, damaging the area by riding his skateboard and playing with a soccer ball. He also played loud music, obstructed cameras, and continued to work with Wikileaks and other internet sites, exposing political information. Such violations led to his arrest. He was noted to be very depressed and unhygienic, which attributed to his stomach problems and dental issues.
His cat had its own Twitter and Instagram page, promoting certain political tweets and causes. But the Ecuadorian Embassy felt that the cat wasn’t being taken care of properly. Assange took the embassy to court and lost. The cat was taken by Assange’s associates. It was possibly given to a family member, or to some other new owner, where it is living the life of an indoor pet, although it isn’t quite clear who actually has the cat. Some people claim that the cat was taken to a shelter in Ecuador. I found Embassy Cat Michi’s Instagram and Twitter or X pages. He seemed to be more active on X than Instagram. But its last tweet was on March 29, 2018.
What's Next?
Although everyone is hoping that Julian Assange is finally back home with his family as well as the Embassy Cat also has a good home, the censorship issue will likely continue because of the Zionist-occupied US government's need to silence people from exposing the truth. Just look at what's happening to all the college students worldwide, protesting via college encampments and rallies. Worldwide street protests continue, flooding the streets to Free Palestine from Zionist Israel and other Zionist who are complicit, which includes Nazi Germany. Police State continue to terrorize, abuse, and arrest protesters to silence them. The battle for freedom, freedom of speech, exposing the truth, and justice continues, as many people demand equality and freedom for all, which starts with a Free Palestine from Zionist Israel.
