Nora Fatehi: “It has started to become evident that the aforementioned rivals, being unable to compete with the complainant fairly in the industry, have started to try and tarnish her reputation, which would cause her loss of work,” Both Chandrasekhar and his actor wife, Leena Maria Paul, were arrested by the Delhi Police in September last year for their alleged roles in the duping case.

The Delhi Police has so far arrested 13 people concerning the case.

"Carrying forward and spreading" the comments made by Ms. Fernandez. Ms. Fatehi went on to say that the media outlets and the actor she claimed to be her competition "were acting in connivance with each other."

She claims in the petition submitted through her attorney that "a conspiracy by the accused No. 1 (Jacqueline Fernandez) was conceived and carried out by the above mentioned action to assure the complainant's financial, social, and personal downfall."

The petition claims that "her quickly advancing career has quite evidently threatened her opponents, who are unable to compete with her on a level playing field."
