Pushing Beyond The Limit: Titan Submersible to Titanic

In order to test its journey to the Titanic wreckage, the Titan Submersible was subjected to conditions beyond its limits.

The latest incident of Titan submersible that has occurred who killed its own creator. After few days, it is confirmed that titan was forced to go beyond it’s limit to implosion. There should be a security checks and should always be there.

It has set an example falling themself to pray to finish themself. On the other hand, if they win, it would have been a thing to tell going against the nature and safety is useless to think about. Therefore, ultimately, beyond the limit is nothing. However, it was not proved at all this time. Furthermore, It has been proved that there is a limit set to everything, things including human, there is no doubts.

Why did it has let it happen, why was the Titian not tested several times ago and analyze the data and other things? Me including millions of the people has the same question.

What exactly had happened to these five people who lost their lives at the depth of the ocean when they were traveling in Titan (submersible)?

Catastrophic Implosion’ Of Titan Submersible

The catastrophic implosion happened at 3810 meters down the earth surface at the bottom of the ocean. The implosion happened due to use of carbon metal which was beyond the limit of suction. The pressure was not able to hold the submersible together and thus, the submersible broken down in pieces with five well known business person including creator.

Shahzada and Suleman Dawood, a businessman from Pakistan, his son, Hamish Harding, a French diver named Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and Stockton Rush, the CEO of OceanGate Expeditions, were among the victims.

Stockton Rush

Stockton Rush is an entrepreneur and adventurer who has been involved in the exploration of the deep ocean. He co-founded OceanGate, a company focused on manned submersible technology and deep-sea exploration. Rush has a background in mechanical engineering and has dedicated his career to developing innovative solutions for exploring the world's oceans.

Under Rush's leadership, OceanGate has worked on various projects, including providing submersible technology for scientific research, underwater archaeology, and commercial exploration. The company's flagship submersible, named Cyclops 2, is designed to reach depths of up to 4,000 meters and has been used for deep-sea expeditions.

Rush is known for his passion for ocean exploration and his commitment to advancing technology to unlock the mysteries of the deep sea. He has collaborated with scientists, researchers, and archaeologists to facilitate groundbreaking discoveries and expand our understanding of the underwater world.

What is a submersible?

A submersible is a type of underwater vehicle that is designed to operate and navigate in the depths of the ocean or other bodies of water. It is typically used for various purposes, including scientific research, exploration, underwater archaeology, and commercial applications.

Submersibles are usually built to withstand the high pressure and harsh conditions found at greater depths. They are often constructed with strong hulls or pressure-resistant materials to protect the occupants and equipment from the extreme underwater environment. Some submersibles are manned, meaning they carry human occupants who can control and operate the vehicle, while others are remotely operated or autonomous, controlled from the surface.

Titan Submersibles are used for underwater exploration

These vehicles are equipped with a range of technologies and instruments to enable underwater exploration. They may have powerful lights, cameras, and sensors to capture images and data from the underwater environment. Some submersibles are also equipped with robotic arms or manipulators to interact with their surroundings or collect samples.

Overall, submersibles play a crucial role in enabling humans to explore and study the underwater world, allowing scientists, researchers, and explorers to reach greater depths and uncover new discoveries.

Speciality of Titan Submersible

Reuters: "Titan weighs 9,525 kg (21,000 lbs), and can travel at a speed of 3 knots (3-1/2 miles per hour) using electric thrusters. OceanGate says it is equipped with powerful LED lights, a sonar navigation system and high-end camera equipment. It has a single porthole. Titan's design was for deeper exploration of the ocean’s depths.

Titan was also designed to go deeper than a standard submersible. However, because they used the incorrect metal, it was unable to maintain the desired pressure inside the ocean and thus failed to operate. Hence, it resulted in an implosion.

The search operation started exactly on June 18, 2023, and lost contact with its host ship Polar Prince after one hour and 50 minutes. By the evening, the submersible must come back to finish its operation. However, it did not happen. Thus, in the evening, officials from the Polar Price informed the team of the US Coast Guard.

David Lochridge’s warning regarding Titan’s safety goes in vein

David Lochridge, director of maritime operations for OceanGate, wrote a report in 2018 outlining his worries regarding Titan's safety. According to court records, Lochridge encouraged OceanGate to have Titan evaluated and certified by a third party, but OceanGate refused, citing a lack of funding.

A four-day search operation began and ended on June 22nd, when Titan debris was discovered.
