When times had not yet advanced, a person's honor was accepted with a handshake, no one doubted it.
Nowadays, it seems as if careers, work, and wars did not exist.
If you allow me, today I would like to talk to you precisely about honor.
Thank you for reading.
Honor is a virtue that, once expressed and understood by those around you, will give you confidence and strengthen your word wherever you speak, because you will be a credible person in everything you say.
For the good man, honor has been associated with integrity and the protection of his family.
An honest man will always enjoy good friendships, because his word will always be taken into account and no one will ever distrust it. The honest man honors his commitments and always keeps his word.
I would say that life, lived with honesty, is like the Word of a good Father, which the child always believes without a little doubt that what his ears hear is true.
On the contrary, even in the century in which we live, despite the struggle for equality between men and women, the honor of women is not in their words but in their actions.
The honor of women is and continues to be being pure, faithful, hard-working, long-suffering, etc. Although these concepts have begun to change, the notion of honor in women continues to be a different issue from that of men, since a word is not enough to be believed, yet, in many cases, the honor of women must still be proven, explained, and thus ensure that their honesty is believed without any apparent doubt.
Honor is, therefore, an internal compass, which spreads good, credible, trustworthy and faithful words along our paths, those words that are increasingly difficult to hear, because as the world sees it, even a person's honor seems to disappear.
However, deep inside, I continue to believe in the honesty of good people, in the word of truth, heard with those eyes looking at yours, without blinking, just feeling the truth.
POEM: ROSE
Rose from my rosebush,
that every day gladdens
my soul, seeing you there
in the corner,
still, lush, calm
and peaceful,
that one that with red
passion,
covers every step
that my path
takes,
converted into
eternal, eternity,
because when I planted it,
it was offered to
Heaven itself, in honor of
that angel,
who in my mother's womb,
sang the song
of honor,
living in me,
offering next to
my soul, new
eternal love to God.
