Tree of Existential Threats

Tree of Existential Threats is a reflective poem using a vast tree to symbolize humanity's fragile existence. Its branches represent global dangers like environmental collapse and technological overreach, while the roots signify human choices. Weaving imagery of growth and decay, the poem urges us to embrace collective responsibility. Ultimately, are we capable of changing our path before the roots completely rot?

Abstract: Tree of Existential Threats is a reflective poem that portrays humanity’s fragile existence through the metaphor of a vast, interconnected tree. Each branch symbolizes a different existential danger, ranging from environmental collapse and technological overreach to social discord and moral decline, while the roots represent the deep-seated causes embedded in human actions and choices.
