Blood! Blood! Blood!
The echo of gory scene
re-occuring in our neighborhood
flashing before the
eyes of little children
women and men
The state of insurgency
puts us in a chokehold
We cry for peace as we
sit beside and look the
next man or woman
grieve to pieces
Soaking the Land in red
stiffening our conscience
with fear of whom will
carry the cross of atonement
to appease the future.
