What is meant by Gratitude

Gratitude is a way to express your feelings and acknowledge that we are blessed for whatever we have received.
Gratitude is a way to express your feelings and acknowledge that we are blessed for whatever we have received.

Gratitude is a way that can profoundly change our lives, so today I want to chat with you about this practice of giving thanks. Give them for everything, whether we have or not, money, work, illness, or just a piece of bread, with which to feed ourselves, let us give thanks, thank you because we are alive, because our eyes see, our legs help us walk and our ears listen.

In truth, we can consider life as an infinite wheel, in which nothing lasts forever and everything returns to us. Saying thank you (even if it's for a good coffee in the morning), which I do every day, is beginning that new opportunity to live in joy and faith. Always complaining brings more sadness into your life and you get into a whirlwind of complaints and sorrow towards yourself, which is then difficult to get out of.

Gratitude means, say thank you to everything

It has always been said that man's worst enemy is his own thinking, I feel that way too, because not being happy with how little or how much we have will bring us mental and material poverty. In the world we live in, based on having, possessing more and more and giving less even in thought, gratitude gives value to our life and honors our birth. Because truly, being grateful is honoring that coming to life, those kisses and hugs, that calm look, that feeling that you are part of the great house that is Heaven, and that you will obtain everything, with that gratitude.

Thank you for life, for speech, because despite storms and sadness, we managed to get out of it and enjoy a life of peace and joy again. They say that as above, so below, I know that above is peace, joy, consolation, smiles, singing, love, hopes and laughter of the soul always giving thanks. Throughout the years that have passed through my body, I have learned to give thanks for everything, every moment of my life, shopping at the supermarket, taking the bus, riding in the car, loving my husband and my family.

To have a roof that covers me, a dress that covers my nakedness, food to feed me and give thanks for that air that gives us life, for that Sun that illuminates our days and that Silver Moon and stars that covers the Mantle of Heaven that dresses in blue, the roof of our house, the Universe, the Earth where we all live.

With GRATITUDE I thank you for reading this column, I hope you like it, with love I write them for you from Spain. Now the Poem, those verses that fill my soul and emerge in the form of music until each of my feelings become letters.
Gratitude for that too.

Poem: Mother’s Home

The mother looked at her house,
Hers face was sweetness and love,
calm,
peace and light radiated.

Yes, she loves her house.

It was small and had no windows,
the small living room, a bright kitchen,
A bedroom for everyone,
a candle that lit the cold days and
warmed soul.

Yes, her house was small.
But she was grateful for every corner,
every small space,
every meal,
every clothes,
every kiss, every drop of water,
every laugh that sounded there,
every hug, every love, every child born,
every gesture of light, every star that lowered from above, illuminated the room.

Yes, she thanked Heaven for her home,
and in a sigh of love,.
She raised his eyes to the Creator,
thanking for so much tenderness, sweetness and love.
