2 Poems “The Woods and “The connection”

The Woods continue finding peace and escape and the connection reflecting on severed connections and the unexpected solace found in embracing one's own company after a long period of disconnection.

Poem "The Woods and "The connection"

Two poems, one that explores the concept of our soul's inner sanctuary and self-reliance. On the other hand, the reconnection focuses on disconnection, isolation and self-reconnection that leaves a thoughtful impression on our self-one.

Poem 1: The Woods

The concept of inner sanctuary and self-reliance.

I have grown
a forest of my own,
deep within,
and all around.

so whenever
I seek to escape
the scorching heat of hatred
or the filth of polluted environs,
I slip inside,
descending into
the dense woods within me,
wandering there
for as long
as I wish.

Poem 2: The Connection

The Connection on self-reconnection.

Paths and ways,
connections and communications,
all severed!
all blocked!

so, after ages,
I spent a whole day,
tucked into the folds of
my own company.
