A poem for the person who belongs to my soul and staying far from me

"Where You Are"I miss the quiet in your eyes,The way the world just softens there. No words — just breath and sighs,A touch that tells me someone cares. The space between us stretches thin,Like stars pulled tight across the dark,And still I feel you deep within,Like echo, heat, or faded spark. No screen can hold your laughing face,No call can match your hand in mine.I crave the nearness, crave the placeWhere silence hums and hearts align. You live in me — in soul, in sin,In every beat, beneath my skin.In whispered dreams and silent ache,In all I give, in all you take. "Where You Are"
I miss the quiet in your eyes,
The way the world just softens there.
No words — just breath and sighs,
A touch that tells me someone cares.
The space between us stretches thin,
Like stars pulled tight across the dark,
And still I feel you deep within,
Like echo, heat, or faded spark.
No screen can hold your laughing face,
No call can match your hand in mine.
I crave the nearness, crave the place
Where silence hums and hearts align.
You live in me — in soul, in sin,
In every beat, beneath my skin.
In whispered dreams and silent ache,
In all I give, in all you take.
So until distance learns to break,
I’ll hold you in each breath I take.
And if I fall, I fall to you —
In every shade, in every hue.
