The Echoes of Betrayal, Poem: Why Not Safety?

In the echo of slogans, a promise we weave,
Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, a chant we believe.
In the tale is half told and the truth is not so sweet.
For safety exclusive where shadows still creep.

Success blooms bright, dreams take their flight.
Yet the shadows of dangers linger in the night.

Let our actions be more than slogans we say,
Let the world change to keep shadows at bay.

Changes must be more than words and page,
It’s time for a world where they’re safe at each stage.

A graceful girl just six months old,
With a princess twirl and story not so old.

Her journey begun with a gentle breeze,
Her tragedy so stubborn made her freeze.

Cuts on her body of regrets and reliefs,
This was the story her life briefs.

Not just one child but many daughters grown up,
Her struggle begins when he threw at her a cup.

Blood in eyes, not just tears,
It was the only time in life for fears.

He just plucked her like flower,
But what about her dream of becoming a star.

No one catches him… Why?
Why only girls leaving this world with a sigh?

We seek for justice and another murder,
Leave me please was her last scutter.

He killed her to be safe,
But one day of this life will just leave him like a waif.

Not all men but there’s always a man,
Why are there just a few left as gentleman?

The pain, the blood, the story of the cruel night, we will never forget,
This world needs to promise that every girl will be safe and set.

Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj: The Greatest and Whole-souled

The Greatest and Wholehearted Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj
Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj

Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj (26 Jun 1874 – 6 May 1922) was never less than a God to poor, who always extended hands to lower caste. However, he was well-known for his equality. Therefore, irrespective of any caste and creed. Because of this character, Raja of Kolhapur became Maharaja (the greatest king). The real name of Shahu was Yashwantrao Ghate who born to Jaisinghrao and Radhabai, from a Maratha clan.

The family considered royal from the ancestors. However, the Ghate family had never been rude to the poorest of poor. His contribution and support and fight against Brahmans from the Royal family was one and outstanding. This fight and campaign was from the dispute between Brahmin priests and non-brahmins caste, all the brahmans were stood together against performing rites of other castes.

Therefore, due to this problem in this society, Shahu started supporting Arya and Satyashodhak Samaj and furthermore, fought for Marathas (for their rights). All this controversy called Vedoka controversy. Any person goes to Shahu, never returned empty-handed. He was rich by heart. One of such was Indian theatre transgender Bal Gandharva who was expert in singing at his early days. He could not hear clearly. Maharaj came to know the emerging talent of Bal Gandharva (boy Gandharva) and helped him cure his hearing aid.

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Shahu worked together for untouchables to vanish the segregation-based caste. And, both were agreed on the terms of caste-based reservation to chosen families. The reservation was mainly to avail the government facilities and job quota. Therefore, selected people will have more served seats to apply than the open-caste (those are not falls under any caste system — considered them financially better). Further, during his regime, he developed and improved the financial condition of untouchables and lower caste communities. Produced schools, good educational institutions, provided scholarships and job opportunities by inaugurating “Shahu Chhatrapati Weaving and Spinning Mill” in 1906.

Shahu’s extraordinary support was not offered only to Hindus but also, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, and Christians. He was the man of equality. However, no partiality seen in his life ever. He is someone who brought reservation system in India for lower caste people with the help of Dr Ambedkar. Shahu also worked for women betterment. As well as, supported for their education and legally approved widow marriage in 1917, and stopped child marriage in India.

Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Poem in English

The son of God was born on 26 June
With him, there was only equality,
And  always bloomed.
Then there were left none,
for lower caste to doom.
For untouchables,
he was the first god.
From the society,
he withdrew all the games of fraud
He was the one
who brought in lowers under reservations,
In the letters of the government
By hook or crook for consideration.
Because he, education got support,
got scholarships, jobs,
and a new life to widow,
Shahu ended the child marriage.
In the history of India,
Shahu became God and person of happiness.

The social issues are the main causes that becomes barriers in the development of any country. You must be thinking that why I'm (one human) talking bad about another? But this is a serious problem of the nations, cities and villages. And who is doing it, they must think twice before they do it again. It is a national as well as international issue, and their children do it proudly in the form of successor’s habits. However, it is radically wrong. I strongly believe that it is a problem of the education what we get in school. And an equal amount of cultural impact of the family.
Government is only posting a message on the place (like no parking, no toilet in public place etc...) but need to include it in kinder garden education because the fresh and new brain can adapt this ugly truth.

Tripping Sources of The Social Issues

Then the younger generation will teach their parents what is wrong and right. It is one of the big shames and government of the nation should take it seriously. Yes, I am talking about the law, adherence, rules and how to handle public property, example — urinals that we use publicly. People use gums, tobacco etc dump in it while peeing. When adults carry their kids to the washroom, they learn from their parents (it becomes dad tutoring) and the younger generation do the same mistakes in the future. How to avoid this?
You can ask those men who are professionally housekeeping and work in the toilet. They are genuinely frustrated over this matter.

In offices, public toilets everywhere are the same problem. What is the solution? The government is also worried about this. After placing several notice boards on the street that, in the park and other public places, are ruining their hard work.

Few of them listed Below

  • “Do not toilet here.”
  • “Do not park your vehicle in front of the gate.”
  • No Parking.

But still, people do it often there only. And the same goes with parking issues. Many abandoned vehicles found on the streets knowingly where there is “No Parking” board issued.

Whatever the mistakes we do, from theses social issues, ultimately we have to suffer but no one else. Many foreign visitors keep visiting country to country and thus human learns from one another. And make jokes about our people, and I see hardly proud moments they could share with their friends and family. Why are we lagging particularly at this? This is not the problem of one or two countries. It is a big problem of human being. One good thing I can find in our developing country is that almost 90% of the people have built their toilet. Thank God, back in 90s it was such an awkward moment for visitors. When you visit any village in India, you have to first smell of what they had eaten last night. People used to sit for toilet early morning beside the road where the main try of the village starts. Therefore, on the farm or near the river you could find types, smell and different shapes of potties.

In the democrat of Modi, we are progressing in a right direction somehow (not 100%). There were days when you have to ride a motorbike on the third-class road where many gutters killed your loved one due to the accidents. However, this had also happened because there were no trained drivers (riding bikes without licence). They used to get a permit of motor-driving by paying the sum of the amount (bribe). Therefore, a big part of contribution of such condition of the country was due to corruption. The traffic police used to get money directly into their pocket if someone broke the rules. However, now, there are electronic gateways for paying the fines. So, there are fewer chances of bribes.
We are the only who gives a chance to spread the corruption. Therefore, if the citizen pays the fine to the government, that could have been contributed to repair the same road we did travel. There was development, but making pockets hot through corruption brings no development of the country. We are living a better life nowadays, but we are careless, to build a good nation first we have to change ourselves.
